What is New Beginnings Pregnancy Center?
New Beginnings is a faith-based, non-profit organization functioning in the community for the community. We offer support and assistance for both planned and unplanned pregnancies. We promote abstinence as the best form of birth control outside of marriage; therefore, we do not provide birth control but do offer information on the different methods and their effectiveness. We support and provide information on adoption. New Beginnings is a pro-life organization therefore, we do not perform abortions or refer to agencies that do.
What does New Beginnings Offer?
Free pregnancy tests
Emotional support and counseling.
In our "Earn While You Learn" education program, individuals can earn “mommy money” by checking out videos and books on pregnancy and parenting. They can use this money to purchase items such as clothing, baby furniture and accessories in our own thrift store located inside the Center. We offer emergency assistance on an individual basis
We have an excellent variety of information packets on prenatal care, parenting, adoption, STD's and more.
All of our services are free.
How do we function?
New Beginnings is blessed by the community. Local churches, organizations and individuals support the Center through fund raisers, baby showers and monetary donations. We also have wonderful volunteers who keep the Center functioning weekly by working closely with the Clients. Our auto donation program serves as an additional income. Individuals can donate cars, boats and more. Please see our Donate page to find out more information. We also accept gently used and new baby clothes and furniture that go in our "mommy store".
